Posted on October 13, 2023May 27, 2024 by fannyferio

If you dream to visit The Seychelles but you thought it was out of your league stay right here! This article is for you. This is how we spent 12 days in The Seychelles for 1500€ per person, flight included !

It was a last minute decision for us but we do not regret it at all ! We booked the flight two weeks before leaving for 700€ return p.p. We left at the beginning of February and discovered the 3 main islands of the country.

Informations

The Seychelles is a country made of 115 islands. It is located nearby Mauritius and The Reunion or at the north west of Madagascar.

Visa : You can get your Visa at the arrival for CH and UE. I still recommend checking the official informations as the regulations can easily change.

Currency: Seychelle Rupee

Take an adaptor with you because plugs change depending on the island.

Itinerary :

  • Day 1 : Arrival at Mahé island.
  • Day 2 : Take the ferry for Praslin.
  • Day 3 & 4 : Visit of Parslin’s island.
Sunset on Praslin’s island.
Praslin’s landscape on the road.

Praslin : What to do ?

  • One of the most famous beach in the Seychelles. I recommend staying half a day.
  • Visit the tortoises sanctuary on Curieuse island.
  • The national park of Praslin to discover the coco fesses, symbol of the Seychelles.
  • Day 5 : Take a ferry for la Digue. We spent 4 nights on the island.

La Digue : What to do ?

  • Anse Sévère
  • Anse patate
  • Anse source d’argent
  • Anse coco
  • Rent a bike to visit all these beaches.
  • Eat a pizza à the boutique hotel « Le Repaire. »
  • Day 9 : Come back on Mahé for the lasts days by ferry. We spent 2 nights in the capital Victoria. We don’t recommend staying that long in the city. There is not a lot to do.
